Marine George is a French actress based in Los Angeles. She also works in Paris and Cape Town occasionally.
After a successful start to a career in diplomacy and defense technologies in the Middle East, she decided to fully embrace her passion for acting: after having shot her first two short films in Qatar, she quit her job and moved to Los Angeles in September 2017 to receive a qualitative acting training.
In less than two years, she already played in over 10 projects (including a virtual reality film), she was cast as the lead for a feature and a TV series project, and she wrote and produced a webseries - all in addition to her acting training with the Taylor Acting Studio and UCLA.
She enjoys participating in forward-thinking projects, and notably starred in the Cosomopolitan Magazine-featured play Othello: A Woman’s Story, an all-female contemporary adaptation of Shakespeare’s tragedy, set in a prison and aiming at raising awareness on racism & LGBT issues.
Starting from June 8th 2019, Marine George will be legally allowed to work in the United States. Thus, she is seeking commercial and theatrical representation in Los Angeles.
Meisner-trained at the Taylor Acting Studio, Marine is also enrolled in the Acting for the Camera Professional Programme at UCLA. She studied acting and improvisation for several years and founded an acting school while living in Qatar.
Marine George is fluent in French and English and proficient in German. She can also act for small parts in Arabic, Mandarin and Portuguese.
Skilled in Muay Thai, boxing, aerial trapeze, yoga and ski, she loves to take on athletic and combat-type roles.
Marine George’s work has been featured in media across the world, including the South African edition of Cosmopolitan Magazine (June 2018).
Marine George was also interviewed for media outlets and podcasts, and participated in award-winning projects.
Marine George travelled extensively and lived in 5 countries (France, South Africa, Congo, Qatar and the United States).
These experiences shaped her beliefs, her understanding of human behavior and fueled her artistic journey.
As a creator, she is committed to bringing the beautiful diversity of the world to Hollywood, be it through roles she plays or through content she creates.
Additionnally, thanks to her diverse previous experiences working in economic development, defense technologies, diplomacy or the beer industry, she is fascinated by the diversity of the human kind and is committed to building bridges among differences.
Marine George wrote and produced the webseries Digital Nomads, a comedic satire on our world of fast travel, lust for for freedom and liberal racism.
The project gathered a team of people coming from no less than 8 different countries and four continents.
Currently in post-production, Digital Nomads will be a new straming experience and offer a fresh new look on the oh so glamorous topic of traveling.
